Keith was born and raised in Toronto. He holds a Bachelor of Theology degree and a Masters of Divinity Degree with a specialty in chaplaincy and palliative care from Kansas City Medical Centre. He has served as Pastor of the Newmarket Church of the Nazarene since 1991, Chaplain for Palliative Care (Southlake Regional Health Centre) and is Director of Genesis Bereavement Resource Centre. He is also a clinician for the Trauma Management Group. After three years of hard work, In May of 2012, Keith received his Doctorate of Ministry. He and his wife Pamela reside in Newmarket and have four children.

Cheryl Thivierge was born and raised in Newmarket and now lives in Holland Landing. Her husband Mike and her have 2 daughters: Caitlin is 21 and their oldest Lisa, died in a car accident when she was 17. Cheryl and her husband went through Genesis and Cheryl is now a co-facilitator with Genesis.

A resident of the Newmarket area for several years, Laura is a bereaved mother who was assisted at the time of her son's death by Genesis. She completed a training program for support group facilitators in 2003 and has been volunteering as a group co-facilitator ever since.
