Quote Builder - Traditional Funeral Service with Burial

The Traditional Funeral Service Package with Burial includes one day of visitation, a funeral service in either the Roadhouse & Rose - Playter Chapel, or a church, hall, etc., followed by burial or entombment.  A casket will need to be selected from the Casket Price List.  Depending on the by-laws of the cemetery, a burial container may have to be selected from the Burial ContainerPrice List.  You are welcome to host a reception in our Reception Room following the service, this facility is offered free of charge for the Traditional Funeral Servbice Package.

Transfer
Use of funeral home attendant for the transfer of deceased from place of death  to Funeral Home.  This fee is based on a one attendant transfer (normal for a hospital).  If a 2nd attendant is required (nursing home, retirement residence residence, etc.) then a 2nd $55. fee will apply.  If a transfer occurs betweenthe hours of 9 am to 9 pm then a $200 evening surcharge will apply.

The compiling of vital statistics, clergy, and cemetery forms.  Provision of an unlimited number of Funeral Director's Statements of Death (Death Certificates) and registration of death with municipal clerk.  Also includes assistance with CPP / Benefit Application.

Vehicles
Use of Funeral Home vehicles in order to carry out funeral services and final disposition.  
Funeral Coach (Hearse) $300
 Use of Funeral Coach (Hearse) to transfer deceased from place of service to place of interment (cemetery or mausoleum).
Limousine $0
 Use of 7-Passenger Limousine for transportation of family / pall-bearers to place of interment (cemetery or mausoleum), picking up family on day of service (if desired), etc. This vehicle is offered at no charge for the Traditional Funeral Service Package. Additional limousines are available at a charge of $315.
Lead / Clergy Sedan $125
 Use of Lead / Clergy Car to lead funeral procession to place of interment (cemetery or mausoleum) and if required pick up clergy / celebrant before & after service.
Administrtive Vehicle $50 (required)
 Use of Administrative Vehicle for the local procurement of documents, registration of death, etc., in order to carry out funeral arrangements and final disposition.
Service / Transfer Vehicle $100 (required)
 Use of service / transfer vehicle & any necessary specialized equipment to transfer deceased from place of death (hospital, residence, nursing home, retirement residence, etc.) to funeral home.

Embalming / Preparation
Embalmer's professional services, including dressing, cosmetics and hair-dressing.  Note:   Embalming is required if the family would like to have an open casket visitation and may be required in other certain cases, the Funeral Director will advise on a case by case basis.  Minimal preparation is also available.

Cash Disbursements
Cash disbursements are required costs which are paid out on your behalf as a convenience and included on the funeral services contract.  These include, but are not limited too, registration fees, clergy or celebrant honorariums, coroner fees, cemetery or crematorium fees, newspaper notices and catering fees.  
Registration Fee (mandatory) $30
 Registration of the passing under the Vital Statistics Act in the Province of Ontario. This registers the death with the government and enables the Funeral Home to obtain the necessary permits to carry out cremation or burial.
