PEARCE, Evelyn. Passed away peacefully at home in Newmarket on Sunday December 14th 2014 in her 97th year. Widow of Geoffrey Morgan Pearce. Loving Mother of Geoffrey and his wife Pauline, Christine Hamley and her husband John, Sally Kirby and her husband Charles. Grandmother of Sarah, Mark, Alice, Miriam, Morgan, and Johnathon; and their spouses Susie, Ranjit, Ben and Nicole. Great Grandmother of Russell, Siena, Charlotte, Rowan, Hari, Reese, and Ewan. Mother in-law to Warren, and Dave. Survived by her sisters Joan Lacey, and Jackie Brown and predeceased by her brother Edward Wakeham, and her sisters Ellen Davies, and Betty Edwards. Daughter of the late Edward and Ellen Wakeham. Evelyn was born in London, England on the 17th of January, 1917. She married December 23rd, 1939. Evelyn was a member of the Newmarket Seniors Bridge Club for many years, and enjoyed her winters in Citrus Park Bonita Springs, Florida. Where she was an active bridge and shuffle board player. The family of Evelyn Pearce wishes to thank Dr. Mary Beth Bourne, and Veronica Haaeim.
