Obituary for Marcel George Joseph Lambert
Lambert, Marcel - born October 24, 1943 in St. Boniface, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at home on January 25, 2015 at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife and was a loving husband to Annette Elizabeth Lambert (nee Giesbrecht) and dedicated father to Robert, Richard (Marla), Michelle (William) and Daniel (Tanya) and his grandchildren Maxmilian, Elle, Benjamin, Nicholas, Gabriel, Carson, Andrew, Emma and Genevieve. Loved for his effervescent spirit and zest for life he brought laughter to many lives. His love of the Habs, a good red wine, online jokes, trains, archiving/organizing and Elvis are unforgettable, however his biggest joy came from watching his grandchildren grow. Friends may join at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket for a visitation on Friday January 30 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be at St. John's Chrysostom Roman Catholic Church, 432 Ontario St. Newmarket on Saturday January 31 at 10:00am. If desired, donations in memory of Marcel can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation in lieu of flowers. Online condolences may be made at www.roadhouseandrose.com.
