Peacefully at Eagle Terrace in Newmarket on Friday, February 20, 2015 in her 88th year. Doris Brown of Newmarket, childhood sweetheart and loving wife to the late Vernon for 54 years. Dear mother of Lynda Allen (Rod), Douglas (Jayne), Jeffrey (Brenna), and David (Karen). Proud grandmother of Andrew (Sarah), Thomas, Keith, Sarah (Ryan), Grant (Kerry), Glenn (Amber), Cheryl, Carolyn (Greg), Cory (Jaime), Brandon (Anne Marie), Michael, Alexander, Jordan and five great-grandchildren. Doris will be sadly missed by her brother-in-law Ronald Brown (the late Carol), her sister-in-law Betty Brown (the late Logan) and by all of her nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brother Harold Jackson (Ann). Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Friday, February 27th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Church (Main St. & Park Ave.) on Saturday, February 28th at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Church, Katrine United Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
