Richard James Dunlop
Richard James Dunlop, devoted husband of Teresa Attias, loving father of Christine (Jim) Peets, Marti (Craig) Kellough, Joseph (Susan) Attias, and the late Diane Palmer, proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren, passed away peacefully with Teresa holding his hand, on Tuesday, May 10th, 2016. At 85 years young, he never lost his zest for learning about the world. He was a passionate reader and loved all of the vacations he was able to take with his wife. Richard’s wishes were that instead of a memorial or flowers, his friends and family continue to enjoy each other’s company; have a meal together, and salute him with a fine glass of wine or (his favourite) rye and diet coke. Celebrate by living each day to its fullest. If you wish, make a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Southlake Regional Healthcare Centre (SRHC) in Newmarket. Many thanks to the Cardiology department staff for their excellent care.
Richard loved his family immensely and will be missed by all. We are grateful for the love and support of all of our family and friends.
