Jean Loretta Blight (nee Staley) – Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 84 years of age. Loving wife of the late Grant Blight. Beloved mother of the late Larry (Liz), Murray (Cindy), Judy (Richard) Poulin, Brian (Mary) and Sharon (Rob) Sargent. Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of Jack (Shirley) Staley. Jean will be lovingly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends especially those at the Newmarket Senior’s Meeting Place. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Saturday, October 1st from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Jean’s life will take place in the chapel on Sunday, October 2nd at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
