Obituary for Barry Alexander Kelland

Barry Kelland will be lovingly missed by his wife, Jean, and daughters, Cassandra (Chris), Lurissa and Kerrianne. Barry was brother to Rick, Rob and Mike; grandfather to Alexandria and Damien; and friend, neighbour and colleague to many more. Raised in Uxbridge, Barry was a guidance counsellor at York Memorial Collegiate Institute for 33 years.

A visitation will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Friday, October 21st from 7-9 pm. The celebration of life will take place at Roadhouse & Rose on Saturday, October 22nd at 1 pm.

I was so sorry to hear this evening of Barry's passing. We were talking about him the other day. The "ladies" that went through public school and high school with him have been having annual reunions since 3 of our number have passed away with cancer and now Sharon Henderson has pancreatic cancer. We were going to ask Barry and Bruce to come to the reunions. We were a close knit group and I for one will miss knowing that he is around somewhere. My condolences to all of his family.
