The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jill Seward can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Just thought I knew.

I worked with Jill for many years with her at the cafeteria and catering. One day she called and asked me to pick up her brother Rob on my way into work. Now she forgot to tell me that Rob was blind, typical, anyway I stop and go into the house and said to Rob that Jill asked me to bring him into the cafeteria. Rob very politely said hi and great let's go, now you all who knew Rob you could not tell ha was blind, so I just walk out in front of him and he followed but when I got into the car he shouted hey you have to show me the door I a man blind. Well I just about died I felt so bad about this, anyway we had a great drive. Got there he walks in like he can see and then Jill puts him to work filling the pop machine. I sad to Jill but he is blind, yes she says but that's ok I will tell him what goes on which shelf and just put the cases one at a time there. Then she says that he knew her house so well so he could get down the stairs but that would be it. She would give Rob all kinds of jibs, cutting roast up, well he was also a chef and he was amazing. Jill we had some really good times and lots of laughs. Will miss you lots but I know where you are and we will see each other one day.
