Obituary for Jean Bartlett

BARTLETT, Valerie “Jean” – Passed away peacefully with family by her side at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at 82 years of age. Loving wife of Clayton for 61 years. Beloved mother of Lynne (Jim Jamieson) and Cathy (Paul Nickle). Proud Nana of Adam Maahs, Laura (Andrew Nielsen), and Kayli and Christy Jamieson. The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses at Southlake Hospital for their wonderful care of Jean. A celebration of life will be held at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Saturday November 19, 2016 at 4 p.m. with visitation beginning at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association. My heartfelt sympathies to Uncle Clayt and the family. Auntie Jean and Uncle Clayt have been my "rocks" the past several years as they helped me through some difficult family times. I had a standing 5 PM invitation to share a glass of red wine when I lived a few doors down in Uxbridge.
