WINGER, Stanley Walter – Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday November 23rd in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Audrey June (Spiers) Winger (predeceased March 2007), and father of Bruce, Tom (Ruth), and Janet. He will be lovingly missed by his grandchildren Sarah, Hannah and Ellie. He is survived by his sister Ruth Ryan. Stanley was born in Newmarket and attended Stuart Scott Public School, King George Public School and Newmarket High School. He worked at the Office Specialty for 42 years starting with his father, and eventually with both his sons. He was an upholsterer, woodworker and stonemason. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Saturday December 3rd from 7 – 9 pm. Celebration of Life will be held in the chapel on Sunday December 4th at 2:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
