ELDRIDGE, Howard Ronald (Ron)
Passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2017 at 68 years of age. Loving husband of Pat for nearly 44 years. Beloved father of Julie (Sean), Shannon (Phil) and Kris. Proud grandfather of Chloe, Hayden, Emily and Bryce. Loving son of Marie Gloyn and the late Don Eldridge. Brother of Joan (Mike), Paul (Karen) and Bob (Nancy). Brother-in-law of Peter and Cheryll.
Ron was an enthusiastic math teacher who taught at Stouffville District Secondary School for over 30 years. He loved spending time with family and friends, welcomed them into his home with a warm, friendly smile, and shared joyfully in their experiences. He enjoyed watching / playing / coaching many sports and enjoyed any opportunity for some friendly competition. He enjoyed camping trips, folk festivals, gardening and planning his next trip. He volunteered with the Canadian Cancer Society and the Newmarket Folk Society.
Please join us for a visitation and celebration of Ron’s life at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Wednesday June 7th, anytime between 2:30 and 5:30pm.
