Patricia Colleen (nee Moore) Leichnitz. Passed away peacefully at the Hill House Hospice in her 82nd year on June 29, 2017. Born in Midland, Ontario June 26, 1936.

Loving wife of the late Julius (Pete) Leichnitz. Dear mother of Craig (Loretta) Piitz, Wendy (Bill) Wood, Bonny (Robert) Brissenden and Neil (Sally) Piitz and loving and proud grandmother to her many grandchildren. Special step mother and grandmother to the family of Pete Leichnitz.

Colleen faced her journey with cancer, with great determination and courage over the past few years. She received amazing care from Dr. Rahim and the staff at the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre. A special thank you to the staff at Hill House Hospice for their wonderful and kind care in the final week of her life.

The family will receive visitors at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket, Ontario on Tuesday July 4 between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm and on Wednesday July 5 between 9:30 am and 10:30 am. Colleen’s Service will follow at 10:30 am in the chapel at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home.
