The Love Story of Ruth & Bob

Talk about a cat with 9 lives! Bob survived and battled every set back that befell him. And he did it with humour and resilience. I always said that Bob was one of the unsung heroes who fought valiantly the unfair obstacles put in his way. Standing by his side is the other half of this equation. Ruth supported and cared for Bob through all his setbacks and challenges. Proof once again that LOVE is the strongest bond in the world. RUTH… TO QUOTE A SCRIPTURE… HOPE COMES IN THE MORNING EVEN AFTER THE DARKEST NIGHT. I met Bob many years ago and every time that we talked, it was like we were continuing the conversation without a break. I played Cupid and fixed Bob and Ruth up. Over 30 years ago, I met Ruth and said that I have the perfect guy for her. Suffice to say, the fix up worked stunningly. I will always remember and treasure Bob’s mischievous sense of humour and his sweet nature. He was Ruth’s shining star. The angels looked down from heaven one night They searched for miles afar, And deep within the distance They could see a shining star They knew that very instant That the star was theirs to gain So they took him up to heaven Forever to remain Look down on us from heaven, Bob Keep us all free from hurt and pain You will always be within our hearts Until we meet again.
