Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Gord's passing. I remember him fondly from the time that I worked with him at Unionville Montessori School. He inspired my children to have a lifelong interest in music and he inspired me to alter my career path and teach instrumental music myself. He will be remembered by all the students whose lives he touched and changed for the better.

Condolence: Remembering Gord and keeping all of you..the Mitchell family..close in heart and in my prayers. It is God's promise to relieve pain and suffering as He takes our loved ones to their eternal home.To this freedom, we entrust Gord.
..the everso musically talented teacher and performer and fine family guy that he was.
Friend in the late '60's and early '70's, with a group in Wasaga Beach, we learned about Gord's creative gifts and care of nature's beauty.
He played his accordian at my wedding in 1971 and he and, you, Jan, performed together...grand piano and clarinette...at John and Kristin's wedding in 2005.What a gift 🎶Thank-you..
With friend, Wendy (Fudge) Zettel, we recall Gord's ear for Cat Stevens' music.
Now, this morning 🎶"Morning Has Broken" resonates..Rest well, friend. May the warmth of good memories, in time, replace the ache and grief that your dear family feels..They are your living legacy..
