In Honour and Memory of
Esmé Maria Cavanagh
December 29, 1929 – August 31, 2017

My beloved wife Esmé was surrounded during her 5 days in Southlake Hospital Emergency and the St. Michael’s ICU Ward with the love of her Husband Gray, Son Glenn and his wife Karen, and our three wonderful grandchildren Joshua, Alicia and Jacob.

In mourning with the family are Clan members Karen’s parents Anna and Don, as well as Karen’s brothers and wives Mark and Patti and children Indianna and Breum, and Paul and Gail and their son Andrew and wife Melanie, Greg and Rebekah, and many close friends.

Esmé visualized and often told me her chief purpose in life was that of a devoted supportive wife to her beloved husband, a dedicated loving Mother to our precious son Glenn, and a positive loving spirit to all her friends and those who passed her way. She was a skilled secretary, at one time to the President of Confederation Life Insurance. She supported her husband during his years at university, for 17 years a homemaker and full-time Mom raising Glenn, and then a secretary again. As a Christian, she firmly believed in God and salvation in Jesus. Her favourite scripture was Romans 8:38-39. We all rejoice together that she is home.
