The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joyce Mouland can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

She took me in

At a time in my life when I felt very low and worthless, Joyce and her first husband, Harvey, took me in and made me feel at home.  Just a young married couple themselves, with a small child (Susan), they shared what they had and did it lovingly.  I arrived in Ontario, a single mom with a small child, and landed in a place where I was lonely, broke, and hungry with no roof over my head.  I was the prodical daughter, too rebellious to return home.  Joyce and Harve lived in a small two bedroom, low rental apartment but when I called for help, there was no hesitation about coming to my rescue.  They fulfilled my need until another family member took over and helped me to get back on my feet.  I have been working and supporting myself every since.  My son is now 44 and doing well also.  I will never forget the love, kindness, listening ear, and willingness to share.  Between Harve and Joyce and other relatives, I was fitted into my first Ontario apartment and have lived here ever since.  Joyce will now get her reward for all those she helped and expected no payment in return.  Well done Joyce! My thoughts and prayers are with the family.  God will see you through!
