MacKenzie, Ross Stewart - Passed away peacefully at Victoria Manor, in Lindsay, ON on October 29, 2017. Born on January 14, 1941 in Campbellton, New Brunswick, Ross was the son of Alvin and Margaret. Ross is survived by his wife Eleanor, and their two sons, Sandy and Trevor, his daughter-in-law Nicole, his five grandchildren, Lindsay, Tasha, Tyler, Cameron, and Paige, and his sister Carlen. Ross was predeceased by his sisters, Joan and Elva. Ross grew up in New Brunswick where he developed a love for hockey, fishing, hunting and camping, but his greatest love was for his grandchildren. Ross started his banking career with the Bank of Nova of Scotia, where he worked for 22 years, eventually ending his career with HSBC Bank of Canada, where he also worked 22 years. Visitation will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., in Newmarket, on Saturday November 18, from 2 p.m., until the time of a memorial service at 3 p.m. followed by a reception. The MacKenzie Family would like to thank the staff at Victoria Manor for the understanding care and support they provided Ross.
