Obituary for Ellen Clyne King

ELLEN CLYNE KING - nee Morrice - December 6, 1942 – November 28, 2017 - Ellen passed away peacefully at home after a hard-fought 5 year battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife and best friend to Sandy for 53 years and loving mother to Christopher (Audrey), Victoria (Glen), Nicholas (Jeannette), and Jeffrey (Bonnie); doting and cherished Grandma to Caitlin, Tierney, Broghan, Michael, Mackenzie, Ashley and Alexander.
Ellen was born in Aberdeen, Scotland and immigrated to Canada in January 1968. She had many close friends who enjoyed her wonderful sense of humour. Many thanks are due to Drs. Zibdawi and Taremi and staff at Stronach Regional Cancer Centre in Newmarket for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellen’s name may be made to the Cancer Centre through Southlake Foundation. At Ellen’s request, the funeral will be private and a Celebration of her Life will take place from 1pm through 4 pm on December 19, 2017 at Madsen’s Greenhouse, 160 Bayview Pkwy, Newmarket.
