PLAYTER, Verna - Peacefully at Bradford Valley Long Term Care on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Burt Playter and loving mother of Glenn (Jackie), Wayne (Marilyn) and Janice (Richard Bondi). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Wes (Juliana), Allison (Todd Jackson), Brent (Pam), Jessie (Brad Boogaard), Nicola (Tyler Young), Edward (Becki), Stephanie (Dave Gregoris) and Andrea (Andrew Boyce) and great grandchildren Millicent, Charlie, Tommy, Stella, Watson, Audrey, Warren, Vivian, Jean, Josephine and Helen. Predeceased by her siblings Wes Oldham (Helen), Violet (Don McKay) and Bruce Oldham (Audrie). Visitation will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home on Monday, December 4, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place in the Playter Chapel on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at 2 p.m., followed by interment at Newmarket Cemetery.
