Obituary for Mary Wilson (Lindsay)

Wilson, Mary Carr (nee Lindsay) - Passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Wednesday January 17, 2018, in her 81st year. Loving wife of Stewart Wilson. Beloved mother of Robert and Craig Wilson. Proud grandmother of Kelsey and MacKenzie Wilson. Survived by her brothers Andrew, David, Fred and Robert Lindsay. Predeceased by Ann Wood (Lindsay), Rose Lemasurier (Lindsay) and Donald Lindsay. Survived by her sister-in-law Irene Wilson. She is also survived by her many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces all of which were very dear to her. Mary was born on May 16, 1937 in Scotland. She worked for the Town of Newmarket and the Aurora Montessori School. Mary volunteered at Southlake Regional Health Centre and was part of the Executive for the Newmarket Handicap Club. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket for visitation on Friday January 26 from 11 am -12 pm. Followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 707 Srigley Street, Newmarket, from 1-4 p.m. If desired, donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
