Mary Florence Bjerke (nee Douglas) - Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on March 16, 2018 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Rolf Bjerke. Loving mother of Karl. Sister of the late Alexander Douglas, Doris Farrow, Dawn Elliott and Sheila Elliott. Mary was born in Montreal. A special thanks to the staff at Southlake Regional Hospital and for the wonderful care mom received at Chartwell Alexander Muir Retirement Residence. As per Mary’s wishes, a visitation and funeral service will be held at Cass Funeral Home, 545 Dufferin, Stanstead, Quebec. Visitation is Friday, March 23, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with Chapel service at 1 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in the spring.
