IRMGARD ERIKA HOOD
(nee Griebel) - Passed away peacefully at Bradford Valley Care Community on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Irma was the loving wife of Gerrit Dekker (deceased) and Howard Hood. She was the devoted mother to 8 sons: Clarence (Barb), Bill (Martha), Robert (Diana), Stephen, Phillip (Cindy), David (Wendy), Paul (Cathy), Peter (Connie), grandmother of 20 and great grandmother of 6. Her faith and her family were her priorities and this was evident in the way she lived her life. Many thanks to the staff at Bradford Valley Care Community for the wonderful care they provided to her for many years. Visitation will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on Friday, March 23, 2018, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at the Victory Baptist Church, 18408 Yonge Street, Newmarket, on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Alliston Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Bethel Community Christian Reformed Church, Davis Drive, Newmarket or the Alzheimer Society of Ontario, would be gratefully appreciated.
