WURTS, Elizabeth Louise (nee Whitford) - Passed away peacefully at home on Monday June 11th, 2018 with her family by her side. Loving wife of the late Elwood (Woody) for 55 years. Beloved mother of Susan and her husband Bill. Dear sister of Brenda Lindner and family of Victoria, B.C. She will be sadly missed by her extended family members, all in Western Canada. A heartfelt thanks to all her friends, her physicians, nurses, home-care givers and all who cared for her and helped her on her final journey. We will miss her happy smile, her love for family, art, animals, and life. A celebration of life will be held on Friday June 15, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre, Ontario S.P.C.A or St. James the Apostle Anglican Church in Sharon.
