Wes attended Newmarket High School and later studied humanities and then business management at the University of Toronto before pursuing funeral services education at Humber College. An employee of Roadhouse & Rose since 2004, he purchased the firm, along with Gregg Davey, from Glenn & Jackie Playter in 2009. Wes is past president of the Newmarket Historical Society, Co-Chairman of Heritage Newmarket, and a Board Member of the Newmarket Public Library and the Newmarket Aurora District for Community Living. He is also an executive member of the Newmarket Veterans Association and a corporate member of the Newmarket Rotary Club. |

Gregg has worked at Roadhouse & Rose since 2001 and purchased the firm along with Wes Playter in 2009. His wife Lisa has worked at the Hospital for Sick Children for over 20 years as both a critical care nurse and as a cardiovascular perfusionist. Gregg and Lisa have two daughters, Breann and Lauren. |

He attended Newmarket High School and in 1968 he graduated from Humber College - School of Funeral Services. Glenn became a partner in the firm in 1974 and was sole proprietor from 1993 to 2009. Glenn and Jackie (nee Clute) reside in Newmarket and have three children: Wes of of Roadhouse & Rose; Allison, a school teacher at Rogers Public School; & Brent, an employee of the Regional Municipality of York. |

She grew up in Beaverton Ontario and has two (young adult) children Katelyn and Christopher. Suzanne with her children moved to Newmarket in 1993, where she attended the Hair Academy and became a licensed hair stylist. Suzanne became a licensed Funeral Director in 2008; she has an outgoing personality and is always ready to help those in need. She is especially cognitive of people’s feelings and has a deep empathy with those suffering the loss of a loved one. Suzanne is exceptionally pleased to be working at Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home and in the service to the people of Newmarket and surrounding area. |
