Peacefully passed away at the age of 84 with his family by his side on Saturday, February 29, 2020 in Newmarket. Walter is reunited with his late wife Anne. He leaves behind and will be dearly missed by his children, Marg & Mart, Marlene & John, Clara & Tom and Cindy & Mark. Cherished Opa to Cheryl & Dan, Steven & Beth, Richard & Laurel, (the late Michael & Mark), Kayla & Kyle, Rebecca, Michael & Amy, Jennifer & Jeff, Ashley & Justin, Mark & Lauren, Brittany & Cory, Cody, Jeffrey. Loving Opapa to Colin, Reagan, Brody, Grant, Elly & Sara, Ryan, Ben, Cohen, Denver, McKinley, Keith, and Ezra.
A private family burial will take place on Friday March 6, 2020 followed by Memorial Visitation from 12pm to 1pm at Bethel Community Christian Reformed Church (333 Davis Dr, Newmarket, ON L3Y 2N6). A Memorial Service will take place at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
