Peter Pidhirny – Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on November 26, 2014 in his 93rd year. Loving husband of Katherine. Beloved father of Sharon (Tom D’Amelio), Christine (Doug Dean) and Stephen. Proud grandfather of Derek, Andrew, Brendan, Colin, Keara and Austin. Survived by his brother Paul, sister Mamie and sister-in-law June. Predeceased by his brother Harry, sister Stella, sister-in-law Helen and brother-in-law Harry. Son of the late Nicholas and Olga. A celebration of Peter’s life will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Sunday, November 30 at 1 p.m. with visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation.
