Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 24th, 2021 in his 81st year. Loving husband of Mamie for 57 years. Much loved father of Kirsten (Rob) and Gary (Jimi). Proud grandfather of Hayden, Abram and Josie. Cherished brother of Nancy. Brother-in-law of Helen and Bill McKinlay and Agnes and Graham Manson. Abe will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Scotland and Canada. The family would like to thank Dr. Monteiro of Mount Sinai Hospital and his team for taking such great care of Abe as well as Dr. S. Kassam and his team from Stronach Cancer Centre. A memorial service will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on Friday, October 1 at 3:30 p.m. Please join the family for refreshments immediately following the service at the Newmarket Veterans Hall, 406 Millard Avenue, Newmarket. The service will be live streamed for all those unable to attend. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
