Anna Hozjan, 88, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020 in Newmarket, Ontario. She was born in Gomilice, Slovenia (former Yugoslavia) to Franc and Verona Jerebic. She had two brothers and two sisters. She was a loving wife to Ivan, who passed away in 2006, mother to Slavica and Rosemary, mother-in-law to Joe and Brian, grandmother to Joey, Yvonne, Brett and Evan, and great-grandmother to Sophya, Eavan, Tiago and Luca. She loved working as a seamstress at the Hospital for Sick Children, cooking up delicious meals for her family and enjoying time with friends at the cottage on Lake Simcoe. She considered herself a “farmer-girl” and always worked hard for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside at St. John’s Cemetery on Wednesday, July 22 for direct family members only (due to Covid-19 restraints).
