Barbara Tomlinson (nee Parish)
Died peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, March 11th at the age of 97. She was devoted to her sons Paul and David and a kind, caring mother-in-law to Sara. Barbara embraced her role as "Nan" to grandsons Conor and Gavin for whom she was fierce, feisty and fun! The University of Toronto figured prominently in Barbara's life where she graduated from the Institutional Management Program. She went on to work as a secretary in several departments and was a proud member of the Faculty Club. Barbara loved growing up in Toronto but it was Muskoka that captured her heart.
A special thank you to the caring staff and friends at AMICA Newmarket, Southlake Hospital and Dr. Baggio, to Margaret Bahen Hospice and to Helen. Thank you all for being there when we needed you most.
A visitation will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral home on Friday, March 19 from 1 – 3 p.m. Due to COVID-19 RSVP is necessary to attend.
