Passed away peacefully at Eagle Terrace in Newmarket on Monday, May 15th, 2023, in her 93rd year.
Loving wife of the late Peter Yorg. Beloved mother of Lonna Yorg-Turner (Ken), Cathy Harrison, (Dwayne), and Kim Ledgerwood. Proud grandmother of Ron, Peter, the late Gerry, Jason, Bernice, Amanda, Kali and Kaitlyn. Great-grandmother of Tyler, Christian, Peter Jr., Kristy, Ava, Jacob, Shae, Presley, Hedi, Alyx, Shauna, Kason, Ciara, and the late Justin. Great-great-grandmother of Kane, Mauve, and Wren.
Survived by sisters Barbara and Beverley, and pre-deceased by sister Margaret, and brothers Joe and Jimmy. Daughter of the late Jean Farr and Albert Farr.
Bernice was devoted to her family. Interests included walking, camping, singing, card games, and laughing. Her contagious and boisterous laughter will always be remembered. As per Bernice’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family ceremony will take place at a later day. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
