Obituary for Beverly G. Heise (nee Hatt)
Passed into the presence of her Saviour on August 9th, 2021 following a lengthy battle with ALS.
Loving wife of Erich and beloved mother to Anesta (Evert) van Beusekom, Stephen (Ruth-Ann), and Ona. Proud Nana to Erika, Ester, and Aaron Heise.
Daughter of the late Robert and Glennie Hatt of Beech Hill, Nova Scotia.
Born in Nova Scotia, she moved to Ontario after completing training as a Registered Nursing Assistant in Halifax. It was in Ontario that she met and married Erich and raised their family.
Beverly spent her life caring for others through nursing, private home care, and loving her family. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crafts, and talking with people. Providing a listening ear and sound advice drew many into her circle of friends. Many visitors from near and abroad were warmly welcomed by her.
Bev will be remembered fondly as a wife, mother, Nana, and a dear friend to many.
Her family wishes to thank the many caregivers from Home Care, St. Elizabeth Nurses and volunteers from Doane House Hospice.
