Obituary for Beverley Madeline Rota (Davison)
After a lengthy battle with heart disease and dementia, Beverley (Bev) Rota (nee Davison) passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Friday May 14th, 2021 in her 77th year.
Loving wife of Diego for 54 years. Beloved mother of Yvonne Cunha (Manny) and Annalee. Proud nonna of Nadia (Dave Hill), Rebecca and Dyson.
Sister of the late Doug Davison. Daughter of the late Douglas and Lella Davison.
Bev spent the last few years at Bradford Valley Care Community and her family would like to thank all the staff, especially in Heritage House and Lake House for her excellent care. A special thank you to the Emergency Department and staff on the 3rd Floor MSK unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre for their care and compassion.
Bev will be remembered for her love of family, her sharp wit and sense of humour.
Due to COVID restrictions a private family service will be held on Wednesday May 19th, 2021 followed by interment at Newmarket Cemetery. A celebration of life will occur at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
