Life Story for Christos KIRIOPOULOS

KIRIOPOULOS, Christos - Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket Ontario on Thursday, November 2, 2006 in his 57th year. Our beloved uncle and brother fought a courageous battle with cancer. Chris is survived by his brothers Nick (Lila) and John (Deborah); sisters Georgina Mosakos (Kosta) and Popi (Ted) Nikitopoulos; nephews and nieces; Nick, John, Soula (Demetri), Danny (Alissa), Patti, Denny, Patricia (steve) and Danny. He will be deeply missed by his many family and friends in Canada, the U.S., Australia and Greece. Chris was predeceased by his father Dionysios and mother Patra. Chris was born in Nea Koroni, Messinia, Greece on June 20, 1950 and immigrated to Canada (Toronto) with his family in 1967. He will forever be remembered as a generous, hardworking and fun-loving person. Friends may call at the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Saturday, November 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, November 5th 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, November 6th at 11 a.m. at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church at 11359 Warden Avenue, Markham, Ontario. Interment will follow at the Aurora Cemetery, 14253 Yonge Street, Aurora, Ontario. A very special thank you to the nursing staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre for the care and compasion shown to Chris during the past year.
