Obituary for David Jeffery Essery
ESSERY, David Jeffrey (Jeff)
October 11, 1942 - December 27, 2022
Passed away peacefully at Eagle Terrace LTC, Newmarket, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in his 81st year. Dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and great-uncle to Gail and Richard Barber and their children and grandchildren. Son of the late George Edgar (d. 1975) and Anne Wands Essery (d. 2005).
Jeff was educated at the Ontario College of Art. He retired from CBC as a graphic designer in 1998. He was a past president of the Ontario Puppetry Association. In Jeff’s younger days he traveled extensively.
In honour of Jeff’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will follow. Jeff will rest in Palmerston, Ontario with his parents.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
