Donald James Oster passed away peacefully in his sleep at Southlake Residential Care Village in Newmarket, on Tuesday October 4th,2022 in his 82nd year.

Loving wife/husband of Diane Oster (nee Matthews) for 61 years.
Beloved father of Debra (Chris Spilar) and Christine (Tony Anton).
Proud grandfather of Ryan (Spilar), Brandon (Spilar) and Nicholas (Anton).
Brother of the late Douglas Oster, the late Shirley (Hall) and surviving sister Alice (Filmore).
Dear son of Donald Douglas Oster & Dorothy Marie Oster (nee Marshall).

He began his lifelong career in the trucking industry. From there he went on to becoming a driver-trainer and was able to share his knowledge and passion with others.

A special thank you goes out to the caring staff at Southlake Residential Village for all the love and care you gave to Don during his stay with you.

Friends may call the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Thursday October 6th from 10:00-12:00. Funeral service to follow in chapel at noon.
