Obituary for Ted Denham
Ted (Edward) George Denham passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Thursday September 17th, 2020 in his 83rd year.
Loving and devoted husband of Moya for 59 years. Beloved father (Pops) of Tony (Debbie) and Larry.
Proud and supportive grandfather (grandad) of Josh (Val), Mitch (Caitlin), Ryan and Tasha (James).
Loving great grandfather (grampy) to Jack, Jaydon and Logan.
Teds lost his father at Dunkirk during WW2. His mother, Dorothy worked in a factory spray painting bombs while his grandmother stayed home and raised Ted and his two brothers. Later, Ted married Moya had two children and then immigrated to Canada in 1966. He worked tirelessly to create a fantastic life for his family. He was an extremely talented machinist, who later started a successful aerospace business with his wife and mentored many people along the way. He loved his motorcycles, diving and most of all his wife.
Friends may join us at Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Sunday September 20th from 2-5pm please contact the funeral home to schedule a time to visit. The funeral will be held by invitation for close family and friends only due to COVID restrictions, the service will be live streamed for those who are not able to attend.
