PLAYTER, Elsie Laura - Passed away on July 30, 2020, surrounded by her loving family, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Wray Playter and dear mother of Lynn (Elliott Atkins), Lisa (Randy Wark) and Louise (Sean McCloskey). Loving grandmother of Rachel and Michelle Atkins, Matthew and Brendan Wark and Liam and Shannon McCloskey. She is predeceased by her siblings Francis Hockley, Naomi Green, Preston Hockley, Melvin Hockley and Daisy Crone. Elsie loved travelling, reading, gardening, playing bridge and golfing. She had a successful career in the business world and was a long-time supporter of the Southlake Regional Health Centre Foundation. A private graveside service will take place at Newmarket Cemetery.
