Elva Murphy (nee Adair)
March 11, 1934 – Feb. 14, 2021
Peacefully, Elva Mary Stella (Adair) Murphy of Bradford, On,, passed away in her 87th year. Survived by her daughters Anne (husband Mike van Warmerdam), Janet, and granddaughters Jacqueline & Madeline. Elva grew up on the 8th line in Bradford and was a farm girl at heart. She worked for Eaton’s, Salvation Army, and the Anglican Church Army. Elva was also a Lay Minister in the Anglican church. Elva volunteered with the Girl Guides in Thornhill as Lieutenant. She was an active member of the knitting guild. Heartfelt thanks to Bayview Extendicare in North York for their compassionate care.
