Everett Baker
March 3, 1937 – May 2, 2023

In the early hours of May 2 Everett passed away peacefully in his sleep.

It was with love in his heart, a sparkle in his eyes and a smile on his face that Everett sailed into Cosmic Consciousness. And from the depth of his heart, he will continue to send love, care, and compassion to all of us who remain here on earth.

Everett had courageously endured the treatments for the cancer in his thigh, and had recovered quite well. Recently the battle with cancer renewed and he fought again with love and courage. The last 2 weeks he spent in the kind and dedicated care of the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket and the end was expected, still his passing saddens us all.
Everett was the second youngest of 11 children. Loving husband to Trudy (nee Vandentop) and their three sons Shane (Nancy), Ian (Krista) and Craig (Lorna) and his grandchildren Kayla, Jacob, Skye and Juul.

Everett’s remains will be cremated and at the summer solstice in June, a Celebration of Life will be held.
