Obituary for Gary William Smale
Gary William Smale - October 14, 1950 to September 18, 2020.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband and father at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Friday September 18, 2020, at the age of 69. He will be truly and deeply missed by his wife and best friend of almost 38 years, Margaret (Pedlingham), his son Andy and daughter Heather (Peter) Skrzypczak and his mother, Amelia. He was predeceased by his father William and his sister Linda.
Heather and Andy were Gary’s proudest accomplishment – he loved spending time with his family. He was an avid reader, with a book always close by. He loved to travel and looked forward to his next vacation with anticipation.
Gary was born in Petrolia, spent his childhood in Sarnia before moving Tillsonburg where he married. Soon after, he moved to Mississauga, then to Queensville, Newmarket and finally Aurora.
A family memorial service will be held at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home on Saturday October 3 at 11:00 a.m., unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions the service will be private, friends are welcome to view the service live stream by clicking below.
