Obituary for George McCullough
George McCullough passed away January 6, 2023 at the age of 87. George was born in Toronto, raised his family in Markham and then Schomberg for the last 34 years. Beloved husband of Doris McCullough (nee Mann) for 57 years, dear father of Elaine (Keith) and Mary (Russ); grandfather to Palmer, Craig, Tessa and Tyler; brother of Art (Charmian) and many loved nieces and nephews.
His lifelong commitment of helping others was fulfilled as a teacher and as a car racing enthusiast. George taught at Agincourt Collegiate where he met Doris, Stouffville District Secondary School and Huron Heights Secondary. In his free time and retirement he not only raced cars summer and winter, but he volunteered and mentored many within the sport, which was his true passion and community. He will be missed by many.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 25,2023 from 2-4 pm at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket.
