Obituary for George Leo Poupard
Poupard, George Leo
Passed away peacefully at Southlake Village on December 22, 2022 at the age of 77. He leaves behind his loving wife Nancy (one week shy of 50 years). He was a beloved father of Angela Crowe (Jeff), Michael and David. Proud Papa to Bennett and Mina. He was an adored older brother to Rick (Pat), Gloria Vizner (Bill), Pat Donald (Bruce) and Anne Marie Herlehy (late Jerry). He was brother in law to Marilyn Portt (late Gary), Diane Sinclair (Bob), David, and Terri Caputo (Lou). Uncle of many.
George loved betting on the horses, golf, playing cards with friends and making gourmet meals. Unfortunately, dementia robbed him of many of his retirement years.
Thank you to all the staff at Southlake Village especially staff on 2E and 3E. As per his request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
