Obituary for Gladys Maude Knight (Davies)

Passed away peacefully at Bradford Valley Care Community on July 13, 2022 at 102 years of age. Loving wife predeceased by her husband Harold Wilfred Knight 1997
Beloved mother of Brenda Clare (Paul), June McGregor (Hank) and Dale Knight-Mannell (Phil). Proud grandmother of 5 Grandchildren Kenny (Sylvie), Ross (Kelly) Troy, Casey (Dean), Matthew. Great grandmother of 4 great grandchildren.Predeceased by her brother Chuck Davies and sister Wynne Boyd. Daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Davies

Gladys was born in London, England on March 1, 1920 and moved to Brampton at a young age. She was independent and tenacious. She loved to play rep baseball and ride her bike. Gladys was a brilliant and creative woman; a very talented seamstress and milliner. Gladys helped build airplanes during WWII and was a very competitive curler. She was always politically current and fascinated by computers and technology. Gladys loved her dog Cody and will be happy to be reunited with him.

Cremation has taken place and Interment will be scheduled at a later date
