Obituary for Gladys Saunders
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gladys Saunders in Newmarket at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Friday September 10, 2021 at 89 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Charles William Saunders (2018). Loving mother of Thomas (Laura) Saunders. Proud "Gran" of two gran-daughters; Hailey and Marnie and one gran-son, Riley. Gladys is survived by her eldest sister Gwen and younger sister Myra both of Scotland. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Elizabeth of Florida and nieces, Brenda, Donna, Karen, Anna and Jacqueline.
Gladys will be remembered by her cold hands and very warm heart. She had an exuberant and infectious laugh which family and friends will miss terribly.
A memorial service in celebration of Gladys life will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Monday September 20, 2021 at 2 p.m. Due to COVID 19 restrictions space is limited; therefore, if you wish to attend the service, please RSVP by email at rsvp@roadhouseandrose.com or by phone 905-895-6631.
