Obituary for Guoqiang Bao
Guoqiang (Tom) Bao - November 30, 1956 - September 1, 2021 - Passed away on Wednesday September 1, 2021 in Newmarket, Ontario, after a brief and tough battle with stomach cancer. Tom is survived by his wife, Huijuan (Cindy), of 38 years, daughter Claire and son Jingxi. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the caring staff at Stronach Cancer Center of Southlake Regional Health Centre, special thanks to Dr. Anglin, Dr. Mulhern, nurse Adrianna and Hyun.
Visitation will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, on Wednesday October 27, 2021 from 4:30 - 7:30PM.
Tom was a great swimmer. In honour of his wishes, cremation will be done and his ashes will be scattered into the ocean.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Tom to the Canadian Cancer Society.
