Cowie, Ian Douglas
Husband to Helen (nee Sheach), father to Douglas, Ian and Sheila (Milmine). Grandfather and Great Grandfather.
Avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. He was employed by the schoolboard of North York practically since his arrival from Scotland in 1958. He retired as a principal secunded to the implementation of a government policy to provide schooling to otherwise enabled students.
He and my mother lived on a farm outside Newmarket, Ontario for over 40 years. They moved into Newmarket when they were no longer able to maintain the property.
He will be remembered by those he left behind.
