Peacefully with family members at his side, at the age of 86. Born June 29, 1932 in Toronto, Jack spent much of his youth with his mother, Elizabeth, and his grandparents in Blenheim, Ontario. Jack enjoyed a successful business career in “the finance business,” as he called it, where he met and married Joanne Sloss. Eventually he was chosen by the outdoor power industry, which he loved and which took him to every Canadian province and many U.S. states, and it was from this business that Jack retired in 2003. Until failing health, Jack was in perpetual motion involving home and grounds maintenance, woodworking and attracting birds to his feeder. Jack is survived by his wife Joanne, children Kim Rinaldo (Michael), Pam Hamilton-Taylor (Gord) , Jim Hamilton (Mayoli), Dawne Sullivan (John) and Tara Peel (Jeff), and many beloved grandchildren. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
