I was so sorry to learn of the loss of Jimmy. I was a resident of Oak Ridges and my family was very involved in minor hockey. Jimmy used to play on the same team as my brother at one time. I also had the pleasure of working with Jim at York Central Hospital and know the numbers of years he spent there and the dedication he had to his job. Thinking of you at this time. I had the pleasure of knowing Jimmy and the McQuarrie family all my life. They hold a special place in my heart. Jimmy (Jebbo) will be missed but memories will live strong. Thoughts and prayers to the rest of the family.

Dearest Uncle Jim,
I am sorry I can’t be there today with you and the family, but please know your all in my hearts and thoughts.
Though you are not with us anymore I am grateful you’re not suffering. I hope you are sitting down somewhere having a nice tea with Grandma.
I always appreciated your kind smile and how excited you were to see those you loved. Your willingness to always be your authentic self regardless of others was rare. From when I was born till now in my 40’s you still called me Piggy without a second thought or apology. Thank you for reminding me of a small piece of being a child with just a nickname. Myself and my cousins always think back to early memories of you at Grandmas house, and now we will cherish those even more.
I hope your next journey has lots of new stories, Hulk Hogan, traveling, and deep pockets so your stuff doesn’t fall out.
We love you always Jibbo.
