It is with deepest sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful Mother, Jean Wallace (nee Mair) on Monday, April 4, 2022 at the age of 91 years. Jean is predeceased by her husband of 60 years Frank (2016) and her son Stephen Wallace (2011). Jean will be greatly missed by her daughters Diana McGowan (Rick), and Janine Hanko (Trevor). Jean is the proud Grama/Grammy of Kyle and Alanna McGowan, Alicia and Kendra Hanko and Tamara Des Cotes. She is survived by her remaining sister, Marlene Larke (Don) and sister-in-law, Marlene Mair (Bill). She is predeceased by her siblings Hughie, Bet, Archie and Bill. She will be cherished by several nieces and nephews. Our mom loved nothing more than spending time with her family, wandering the aisles of her favourite stores, especially if that store had a dessert aisle, and loved to watch old movies. Her passing has left a huge void in our lives, but we know she will be surrounded once again by the love of those she missed. We love you Mom “a bushel and a peck”.
